Joe Caliva

Joe Caliva is a diverse professional with extensive experience in education, the arts, and transportation. Since August 2020, Joe has served as a docent at the Barnes Foundation, while also working as a self-employed teacher, artist, musician, and photographer since 1992, providing instruction on various instruments and artistic techniques. Past roles include transportation manager at Active Day, safety training manager at TransPar Group of Companies, and owner/director of Square West Arts Loft, where Joe produced and curated art shows. Joe's background also includes experience as a bus driver for both Marriott Hotels and Sumner County Schools, and as music director at Mainstage Center for the Arts. Joe holds a BA in Classical Composition and a MAT in Music Education from the University of the Arts, which were earned between 1987 and 1992.
