Nancy Ireson

Deputy Director For Collections And Exhibitions at The Barnes Foundation

Nancy Ireson currently serves as the Deputy Director for Collections and Exhibitions at the Barnes Foundation since August 2018. Previously, Nancy held the position of Curator of International Art at Tate Modern from December 2015 to July 2018 and served as the Rothman Family Associate Curator in the Department of Prints and Drawings at The Art Institute of Chicago between April 2013 and November 2015. Additional experience includes roles as a Research Fellow at The Morgan Library & Museum, the Courtauld Institute of Art, and the Victoria and Albert Museum, as well as positions at The National Gallery and Tate. Academically, Nancy has a Doctor of Philosophy from The Courtauld Institute of Art focused on Henri Rousseau, and is currently pursuing a Global Executive MBA at Alliance Manchester Business School.
