Gabriel Kang

Gabriel Kang is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in the finance sector, currently serving as a Senior Tax Accountant at The Baupost Group since September 2015. Prior to this role, Gabriel worked at McGladrey from November 2011 to September 2015, progressing from Tax Associate to Tax Senior Associate. An initial experience at Deloitte as an Audit / Assurance Intern in 2010 included responsibilities related to auditing Employee Insurance for the Korean Postal Service. Earlier in their career, Gabriel managed the Classified Advertisement Section of The Daily Orange, Syracuse University’s newspaper, from September 2008 to May 2010. Gabriel holds a Master of Science in Accounting from Boston College and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Syracuse University.
