Jianfeng Qin (Jeff)

Jianfeng (Jeff) Qin, CFA, possesses extensive experience in investment management and risk analysis. Currently, Jianfeng is part of the Public Investment Team at The Baupost Group since June 2019. Prior to this role, Jianfeng served as Vice President in the SSGM Risk Management department at State Street from August 2010 to June 2019, focusing on investment risk, hedging, market risk, and counterparty credit risk. Jianfeng began their career as a Quantitative Analyst at Goldman Sachs from July 2007 to August 2010, working with corporate bonds, convertibles, and CDS/CDX. Jianfeng holds a Master of Science in Engineering from Dartmouth College - Thayer School of Engineering, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from BUPT.
