Matthew Blake

Matthew Blake is an experienced professional in the real estate investment sector, currently serving as Managing Director and Principal at The Baupost Group since May 2019. Prior to this role, Matthew held positions as Vice President of Real Estate at both Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. and Sabal/Oaktree, and served as Director at Avignon Capital. Matthew's career began as a Surveyor at JLL, with subsequent roles including Senior Asset Manager and Investment Analyst at X-Leisure Ltd. Matthew holds a Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate from the University of Reading, obtained in 2007.
