Scott MacKey

Scott Mackey is an experienced educator and freelance writer with a diverse background in teaching and leadership roles across various institutions. Currently serving as a Humanities Teacher at The Bay School of San Francisco since June 2022, Scott previously held significant positions such as Dean of Faculty and English Teacher at the Julia Morgan School for Girls, Lead Teacher at the Glide Foundation, and Head of the English Department at Menlo School. Scott began a freelance writing career in December 2010 and has also worked as a Principal at The Waverly School and a Dean of Multicultural Programs at San Francisco University High School. Scott's educational background includes a Master’s degree in English from Middlebury College and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Texas Christian University.
