Rebecca L.

Rebecca L. serves as the Chief Executive Officer of The Beacon of Downtown Houston since April 2016, leading efforts to fulfill the organization’s mission to combat homelessness in the area through essential services, fundraising, and program development. Prior to this role, Rebecca held the position of Vice President of Program Services at Northwest Assistance Ministries, overseeing multiple programs and securing funding. Additional experience includes Vice President of Program Operations at Healthy Family Initiatives, Program Manager at El Centro de Corazón, Assistant Director at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, Resident Client Services at Casa Juan Diego, and Community Organizer with the United States Peace Corps. Rebecca holds a Master of Science in Counseling from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from William & Mary.
