Rosie Van Der Meer has a wealth of experience in marketing and communications. Rosie began their career in 2010 as an Intern at Bauer Media Group, assisting magazine directors and helping them reach deadlines in an organised manner. Rosie then worked as an Event Assistant for BMW Group in 2015 and Bio Living in 2016. In 2017, they worked as a Marketing Intern for Certified Energy and a Marketing role for UDi SKINCARE. In 2018, they worked as a Marketing and Communications Coordinator and then a Manager for The Healthy Chef. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Content Manager for The Boathouse Group and a Social Media and Content Executive, followed by a Social Media and Partnerships Manager, and finally a Social Media, Partnerships & Digital Content Manager for The Beauty Chef. Additionally, in 2014, they started their own business, Rosie Isabella Jewellery, designing and manufacturing hand-made jewellery.

Rosie Van Der Meer attended the Freshwater Senior Campus from 2011 to 2012. Rosie then enrolled in the Whitehouse Institute of Design, completing a VET Course: Style Visualisation Certificate 2 in Fashion/Apparel Design. In 2013, they began their Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations and Event Management at the University of Technology Sydney, which they completed in 2017.
