Rebecca Louie currently serves as the Executive Director of The Bee Conservancy, overseeing strategy and operations for a national non-profit focused on bee protection and ecosystem conservation. Louie has a diverse background in content creation and management, having held positions such as Managing Director at General Assembly and Creative Director, where leadership spanned teams in producing brand and marketing content. As the Founder of The Compostess, Louie has been recognized as a thought leader in composting and eco-friendly living, complemented by a published book, "Compost City." Previous experience includes roles at various media outlets and organizations where Louie reported on lifestyle and sustainability topics, demonstrating a strong commitment to environmental advocacy throughout a well-rounded career in writing, editing, and strategic marketing. Louie holds a BA in Cultural Studies from Swarthmore College.
