Shannon Harvey

Shannon Harvey is currently the Head of Research & Impact at Relationships Australia NSW, with additional roles as Acting Principal Researcher and Senior Research Officer since August 2020. Shannon is also a Doctoral Candidate at UNSW, focusing on the research topic "Disruptive Bodies: Interrogating the Gender Binary in Family Violence Policy and Practice." Prior work experience includes positions as a Research Consultant for the Australian Red Cross, Independent Consultant in research and service development, and various leadership roles at Population Council, Lantern Community Services, Shelter UK, NatCen Social Research, AVA, and Eaves. Shannon holds a Master of Letters in Peace & Conflict Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Government & International Relations from the University of Sydney.
