Sydney Hamilton

Sydney Hamilton is a dedicated educator currently serving as a Social Sciences Teacher at The Benjamin School since September 2024, while also teaching as a Summer School Teacher at Stevenson High School since June 2021. Previously, Sydney taught high school Social Studies at Mundelein High School District 120 from August 2021 to May 2024, where responsibilities included teaching World Studies and U.S. History, and providing support in various academic settings as a long-term substitute and instructional assistant. Sydney gained valuable teaching experience through a student teaching position and has held roles in sales and customer service prior to pursuing a career in education. Sydney holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography Teacher Education from Illinois State University and a certificate in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL from Harper College.
