Lisa Waller

Lisa Waller is the current Head of School at THE BERKELEY CARROLL SCHOOL. Lisa was previously the Assistant Head of School for Progressive and Inclusive Practice at The Dalton School from January 1995 to July 2019. Lisa has also been a High School Lisa'story Teacher and Academic Advisor, as well as the Director of the High School and Assistant to the Head of School for Academic Affairs at The Dalton School. Prior to their work at The Dalton School, Lisa was a High School Lisa'story Teacher, Middle School English Teacher, and Academic Advisor at Milton Academy from January 1987 to December 1989.

Lisa Waller completed their undergraduate studies at Oberlin College, where they majored in African and African American Studies and English, with a minor in Women's Studies. Lisa then went on to complete their Ph.D. in Lisa'story at Duke University, with a focus on African American Lisa'story, Twentieth Century Social Movements, and Women's Lisa'story. Additionally, they have a background in Spanish Lisa'story from their time spent studying at Duke University.
