Dr. Johann Thieme

Dr. Johann Thieme has a diverse work experience in pricing and sales management. Dr. Johann began their career in 2009, holding various positions in sales, sales consulting, and private equity. In 2013, they joined Simon-Kucher & Partners as a Director in Banking & Financial Services, where they worked until 2020. Dr. Johann then moved to BPW Bergische Achsen KG and served as the Manager of Pricing & Digital Sales until 2023. Currently, they are working at The Berner Group as the Director of Pricing & Margin Management.

Dr. Johann Thieme completed their education in the field of Economics, specializing in International Trade and Growth Theory. Dr. Johann attended Kiel University from 2003 to 2008, earning both a Diplom-Volkswirt degree and a Dr. sc. pol./PhD in Economics. In addition to their formal education, Dr. Thieme also obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in November 2013.
