Jonathan Thurston has 20 years of experience in the industrialization and fermentation of food products. Jonathan began their career in 1993 as a Researcher at Universal Foods Corporation. In 2000, they joined Bayer Crop Science as an Industrialization Manager and Fermentation Scientist / Process Engineer. In 2020, they became the Director of Industrialization and Senior Scientist at The Better Meat Co.

Jonathan Thurston graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemical Engineering in 1990.
