Carolina Cirillo

Carolina Cirillo is an experienced professional in business development and program management, currently serving as a Business Development/Programme Manager at The Big Issue since September 2021, following roles as Programme and Partnerships Officer and Partnerships Coordinator within the same organization. Prior to this, Carolina was a Research and Outreach Consultant at the Crisis Management Association and worked as a Development and Outreach Associate at Strategic Advocacy for Human Rights. Carolina also held a trainee position at the European Union delegation to Sri Lanka and the Maldives, and gained experience as a Protection intern at UNHCR in Malaysia. Earlier in the career, Carolina worked as a Policy Research and Analysis Assistant at the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Wildlife. Carolina holds an MSc in Migration, Mobility, and Development from SOAS University of London and a degree from Richmond, The American International University in London.
