Sonya Clancy

Sonya Clancy, AM, FAICD, is an experienced executive in corporate services and human resources. Currently serving as the Chief Corporate Services Officer and Chief People Officer at Bank Australia since July 2018, Sonya also holds the position of Chairman at Homes for Homes, a social enterprise focused on funding affordable housing, and The Big Issue, where leadership has been provided for over 11 years. Previous roles include Specialist Advisor at the Australian Renewable Energy Agency, Executive General Manager at Equity Trustees, and various senior positions at ANZ, where significant contributions were made to organizational culture and human resources for extensive staff networks. Sonya's earlier career includes roles in organization development and human resources at AMRAD Pharmaceuticals and Rhone-Poulenc Rorer. Education was completed at the University of Melbourne with a focus on Psychology and Political Science.
