Erika Schwarz Taylor is a highly experienced computational biologist and bioinformatician with a diverse background in academia and industry. Currently serving as Principal Computational Biologist at Form Bio and Bioinformatician at The Bioinformatics CRO, Taylor also co-founded Environmental Quality Operations, providing scientific advisement while managing client relations and project timelines. Previous roles include Sr. Bioinformatics Support Scientist at Illumina, where Taylor collaborated on pre- and post-sales support for bioinformatics tools, and academic positions as Assistant Professor and Visiting Assistant Professor at St. Mary's University and St. Edward's University, respectively. Taylor holds a PhD in Genome Sciences/Genomics from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Jurisprudence in Business Ethics, Compliance, and Risk from St. Mary's University School of Law, complemented by degrees in Marine Biology and Biology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
