Dino Simone has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Dino co-founded and served as the CTO of The Black List, a screenplay hosting and evaluation platform. Dino also worked as the VP of Engineering at LexShares, a crowdfunding platform for litigation investment. Prior to that, they were a Systems Engineer at Akamai Technologies. Dino also worked as a Developer at NutraClick and as a Software Engineer and Lead Migration Engineer at Endurance International Group. Additionally, they gained experience as a Web Developer intern at Schlumberger and as a Software Test Engineer intern at Draper Laboratory.

Dino Simone holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Engineering Management, which they obtained from Tufts University between 2011 and 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering from the same university, graduating between 2003 and 2007. Besides their formal education, Dino has also obtained various certifications. In 2019, they became a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council. In 2015, they obtained the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance. Additionally, Dino achieved the CompTIA Network+ certification from CompTIA in 2006, although the specific month of obtaining the certification is not provided.
