Sam Williams

Sam Williams is currently a Summer Intern at the National Health Law Program. They also hold various leadership positions at The Black Student Movement at UNC, including President and Communications Co-Coordinator. Additionally, they work as a Research Assistant at Carroll Labs, focusing on computational analysis of the gut microbiome in relation to mental health illnesses. Sam is also involved with the American Mock World Health Organization as Media Co-Director and Dias Chair. They previously worked as a Laboratory Assistant at UNC Chapel Hill and as a Tutor at SpiderSmart Learning Center. Sam is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition: Health and Society at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
