Segun Olowookere

Segun Olowookere is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the non-profit sector. Currently serving as Finance Director at The Children's Society since June 2022 and as Chair of the Board of Trustees at The Blagrave Trust since November 2022, Segun also held the position of Finance Director at Restless Development from January 2020 to June 2022. Previously, Segun contributed as Treasurer on the Board of Trustees for SafeHands for Mothers Charitable Trust, focusing on improving maternal and newborn health. With additional roles including Projects Assistant at the United Nations International Maritime Organization and Senior Business Partner at Comic Relief, Segun has cultivated expertise in financial management and training, having worked as a Financial Management Trainer at Mango (now Humentum) and Finance Manager at Restless Development. Segun began a financial career as a Financial Assistant at AccountAbility and holds a BSc in Financial Mathematics from Brunel University London, alongside professional qualifications from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
