Rebecca Buitrago's work experience includes several leadership roles in the sales industry. Rebecca started their career in 1990 at Harmon Auto Glass, where they served as the National Training Manager and later as the Operation Area Manager. Rebecca was responsible for managing budgets, sales plans, and profit plans, as well as implementing sales and marketing strategies. As the National Training Manager, they traveled extensively to open new markets and played a pivotal role in launching successful sales and operation techniques.
In 1999, Buitrago joined The Blue Book Building & Construction Network as a Sales Manager, where they provided strategic direction to support multiple retail locations in achieving annual sales goals. Rebecca also recruited and trained new sales team members and developed a comprehensive Sales Training Manual.
In 2002, Buitrago joined PILKINGTON NORTH AMERICA AGR as an Area General Manager and later as a Regional Sales Director. In these roles, they demonstrated extensive operation and sales experience and successfully built cohesive teams to drive profitable results. Rebecca was valued by customers and employees as a trusted advisor and leader, contributing to new sales opportunities and business growth. Rebecca also had complete P&L accountability for the Western United States and played a key role in opening multiple new markets.
In their current position as the Managing Director West at The Blue Book Building & Construction Network, which they started in 2021, Buitrago is responsible for managing five Sales Directors and overseeing 70+ sales consultants. Rebecca provides leadership, direction, and resource stewardship to the organization's local and regional sales teams and SMB customers. Rebecca also focuses on client development using analytics, sales consulting, and relationship building techniques.
Rebecca Buitrago attended The University of Georgia from 1985 to 1988, where they completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
