Nicola Harkin

Nicola Harkin currently serves as the Head of People for the UK Market at The Body Shop, a role commenced in November 2021, where responsibilities include partnering with market leadership to deliver an inspiring and commercially focused people plan. Prior to this, Nicola held the position of Regional HR Manager at Iceland from April 2018 to October 2021, overseeing a regional HR management function across South England and London, leading HR Field Teams, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. With extensive experience at Sainsbury's spanning from 1990 to 2018, Nicola progressed from a Store HR Manager to an HR Business Partner, recognized for delivering effective HR solutions across numerous sites and contributing significantly to diversity and inclusion initiatives. Educationally, Nicola holds degrees in Public Administration & Management from the University of Kent and Middlesex University, along with qualifications from St Helen's & St Katharine's.
