Silvia Fardilha

Silvia Fardilha is an accomplished Senior Cosmetic Chemist with extensive experience in product development and laboratory management. Currently leading the Laboratory and R&D Team at Matrix since April 2024, Silvia previously held roles at The Body Shop as a Product Development Chemist and Innovation & Sustainability Raw Materials Expert, where successful new product developments were engineered by closely collaborating with various stakeholders. Prior experience includes serving as Production & Laboratory Manager at Skingreen Cosmetics, where the establishment of the company was spearheaded, and at Castelbel, where a range of haircare and body products were successfully launched. Silvia's earlier roles also involved pioneering product formulations at A Ocasião Faz o Sabão and assisting in food allergen biosensor research as a Research Lab Assistant at REQUIMTE/LAQV. Educational achievements include a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Technology and a Post-Graduation in Advanced Cosmetology.
