Igor Bogoslavskyi

Igor Bogoslavskyi is a seasoned roboticist and applied researcher currently working at The AI Institute since September 2024, and an educator on a YouTube channel named "Code for yourself" since July 2022. Previously, Igor served as a senior researcher at Magic Leap and as autonomy lead at Apex.AI, where leadership of a team resulted in the delivery of a multi-object tracker for Autoware. Experience includes roles as a senior perception engineer at BMW Group, along with academic positions at the University of Bonn and various internships focused on robotics and perception, including a significant contribution at Nuro. Igor holds a PhD in Photogrammetry and Geoinformation, a master's degree in Computer Science, and a bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics, complemented by foundational education in mathematics and physics.
