Peter Olagunju

Peter Olagunju is currently an advisor at The Bowdoin Group. Peter has over 25 years of experience in the biotechnology industry. Olagunju has worked in various leadership positions in Technical Operations, Patient Operations, and Commercial Technical Operations.

Most recently, Olagunju was the Senior Vice President of Technical Operations at FerGene from March 2020 to July 2021. In this role, they led the Technical Operations function which included Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Process Sciences, Project Management, and Quality.

Before FerGene, Olagunju was at bluebird bio from August 2015 to March 2020 where they were the Vice President of Global Patient Operations. In this role, they were responsible for the Patient Operations function which included Apheresis Operations, Drug Product manufacturing, and Patient Scheduling/Client Services.

Prior to bluebird bio, Olagunju spent 20 years at Valeant Pharmaceuticals in a variety of Technical and Commercial roles including Senior Director of Commercial Technical Operations.

Olagunju has a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the University of Lagos in Nigeria and a MBA from Rutgers University in New Jersey.

Peter Olagunju has an MBA in Business from the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business, a Biology degree in Immunology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and is certified by the American Society for Quality as a Certified Quality Auditor.
