Nat Yang started their career as a VP in the Capital Markets Group at Fuji Bank Ltd. in 1982. From 1995 to 2000, they worked as the Controller, CFO, and Chief Administrative Officer at The Gordon-Cross Corporation, where they developed financial KPIs and managed JIT inventory. Nat then worked as a Finance and Accounting Consultant at Resources Global Professionals from 2000 to 2006. From 2006 to 2013, Nat served as the Senior Manager, Business Unit Controller at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, where they directed budgeting, forecasting, planning, and reporting. Nat also served as the Controller of budgets totaling over $120M. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Finance and Accounting Consultant at Resources Global Professionals, where they developed IT cost-cutting proposals and created monthly reports. Since 2016, Nat has been working at The Bowery Mission, starting as a Senior Financial Analyst and currently serving as the Controller and Senior Director of Financial Planning.
Nat Yang has a Masters of International Management in Finance/Accounting from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. They also have a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Biology/French from the University of Pennsylvania. Their high school education was completed at Stuyvesant High School. In addition to their formal education, Nat Yang has obtained certification from The New York City Leadership Center's Leadership Fellows Program as part of the 2016-2017 cohort.
