The Bowery Mission
Rachel Rowland has extensive experience in development and grant coordination, currently serving as Development Officer for Foundations at The Bowery Mission since March 2019, with a progression of roles including Senior Grants Coordinator, Grants Coordinator, and Campaign and Major Gifts Coordinator. Prior to this, Rachel held the position of Office Manager at Performers Theatre Workshop and worked as a Student Administrative Assistant at Cedarville University, where responsibilities included donor communication and event planning. Early career experiences include roles as a Summer Camp Counselor at Town Sports International and a Summer Intern at EFCA. Rachel holds a degree in Intercultural Studies from Cedarville University, earned from 2013 to 2017.

The Bowery Mission exists to promote the flourishing of New Yorkers overcoming homelessness and marginalization by providing compassionate services and transformative community. Since the 1870s, we have been a place of welcome, care and healing for New Yorkers in crisis.
