Peter Meere

Co-founder and CCO at The Brand Father

Peter Meere has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Peter is currently the Co-founder of MET AMS, a leading metaverse festival in Europe that brings together thought leaders, artists, and brands in immersive experiences. Prior to this, they co-founded and served as the CCO of The Brand Father, an agency specializing in impactful brand partnerships and experiences.

Peter also has entrepreneurial experience as the Founder of Hippo Hot Sauce, where they created and sold all-natural, handcrafted hot sauce. Peter has also worked in the media industry, first as a sr. Business Developer and later as an Account Manager at Vice Media Benelux. In these roles, they were responsible for setting up long-term relationships with brands and selling content and creative projects to media agencies and clients.

At Vice Digital, Peter served as the General Manager of Partnerships Benelux, where they managed publisher relations, developed new partnerships, and consulted on complex advertising campaigns. Peter also worked as an Editorial Manager at Vice Media Benelux.

Peter's career began as an actor on stage and screen, providing voice-overs and hosting events. Peter founded Create Your Future, a platform where they offered coaching, presentation techniques, and storytelling services. Additionally, they worked as a Production Leader at HIDA Foundation, developing and producing theater and film productions. Peter also worked briefly as a Fundraiser at Nuit Blanche, an international art night.

Earlier in their career, Peter worked as a Financial Administrator at Kalkhoven B.V. and as a Sponsored Poker Player at Everest.

Peter Meere's education history begins in 2003 when they enrolled at Erasmus University Rotterdam, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management. This course of study lasted for four years, culminating in their graduation in 2007.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Peter Meere continued their education at Erasmus University Rotterdam and pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations. Peter attended the university from 2008 to 2009, during which time they acquired valuable knowledge and skills in the field.

Additionally, in 2010, Peter Meere expanded their educational horizons by attending Theaterschool De Trap, where they studied acting. Peter engaged in this program for four years, until 2014, and obtained a degree in Theatre/Theater.

Later on, in 2020, Peter Meere participated in a Marketing Week Mini MBA program under the instruction of Mark Ritson. This provided him with a condensed but intensive education in marketing, granting him a Mini MBA in the subject.

Overall, Peter Meere's educational journey included a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, a Master's degree in Business Administration, with a focus on entrepreneurship, and training in acting, along with a specialized course in marketing.
