The Brand Guild, a full service communications agency with offices in Washington, D.C. and New York City, is hiring a part-time Office Manager to join and support our DC office in Georgetown. Our ideal candidate is a proactive “people person” with 2-3 years of experience in a retail and/or operations role who is adept at wearing multiple hats. 

This role will be in-office, part-time (Mon-Thurs, 8:30a - 2p). The hourly rate for this position is $25, and it is not eligible for benefits or paid time off.

You will:

  • Serve as DC office manager (ordering, restocking and organizing supplies, replenishing and ordering food and beverages, stocking bathrooms, etc.)

  • Serve as front desk representative in the DC office: buzzing visitors in, accepting and distributing mail and deliveries, and greeting guests

  • Maintain tidiness of DC office and space optimization, making recommendations as needed

  • Act as main POC for all building-related and facilities issues, including arranging service visits and escalating issues as needed

  • Provide support for in-house events and meetings (internal and external)

  • Manage general inquiry email inbox

  • Support Co-CEOs with administrative tasks

  • Assist when needed with team and client gifting

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an operations, retail or executive support role

  • Proficiency with Google Suite

  • Impeccable attention to detail and highly organized

  • High level of professionalism and poise

  • Strong communication skills

  • A “team player” attitude: no job is too large or too small

  • Excellent problem solving and time management skills
