Kelsey Acevedo-Soto LMFT, ATR-BC, currently serves as the Director of School Counseling at The Branson School since July 2023. Previous experience includes roles as an Upper Secondary Counselor at the American International School in Vietnam, where comprehensive counseling and college guidance were provided for grades 10-12 within the IB program, and as a KG/ES Counselor at Al-Bayan International School, focusing on counseling, assessment, and support for special needs and social-emotional development. Kelsey has also worked as a Mental Health Therapist at Fred Finch Youth Center, delivering outpatient counseling and facilitating Art Therapy interventions for at-risk youth, and served in various counseling roles, including Behavioral Intake Counselor at United Behavioral Health, Residential Counselor at Caminar, Inc., and intern positions at Marin Brain Injury Network and The Help Group. Kelsey holds a Master's of Arts in Marital and Family Therapy with a focus on Clinical Art Therapy from Loyola Marymount University and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences with a concentration in Psychology from California State University.
