Jeremy A. Verlinda

Jeremy A. Verlinda is currently the Principal at The Brattle Group. Prior to this, they were an Economist at the U.S. Department of Justice from July 2005 to August 2013.

At the Department of Justice, Jeremy worked with teams of staff attorneys and other economists to investigate whether proposed mergers were anticompetitive. Jeremy's expertise includes work in the airlines and electricity industries. Jeremy also worked on the Division's investigation of the Live Nation - Ticketmaster merger. In addition to investigating potential mergers, Jeremy also worked on anticompetitive conduct cases, such as Google's proposed tie-up with Yahoo, and in the payments industry; as well as criminal price fixing.

Jeremy's experience in investigating antitrust issues has made him an expert in the field, and they are highly sought after for their knowledge and insight.

Jeremy A. Verlinda received a PhD in Economics from UC Irvine and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Economics from the University of Washington.
