Lucia Bazzucchi is a Principal at The Brattle Group. Lucia has a wide range of experience in the public and private sector.

Lucia began their career as an intern at the Ministero degli Affari Esteri. There they conducted research in the field of public-private partnerships to help develop strategic planning of office activities. After their internship, Lucia became a Founder Associate at Attack - nonprofit organization for contemporary art promotion. There they managed the organization's finances and helped to promote contemporary art.

In September 2008, Lucia began working as a Credit Policy Analyst at Barclays Bank PLC. There they were responsible for data management and monitoring activities of the wholesale portfolio. Lucia also presented wholesale portfolio overviews during monthly conference calls. In September 2010, Lucia left Barclays to become a Research Assistant at Columbia University. There they analyzed relevant academic literature and data about industrial programs in the US (focused on Manufacturing Extension Partnership). Lucia also contributed to a research team in the development of an online and telephone survey about high-tech venture creation processes.

In July 2011, Lucia joined The Brattle Group as a Principal. The Brattle Group is an economic consulting firm that provides expert testimony and advises clients on complex economic, financial, and regulatory matters.

Lucia Bazzucchi has a Research Doctorate in Applied Economics from Università degli Studi di Ferrara, an MA in Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences from Columbia University, and an MSc in Economics and Social Sciences from Università Bocconi.

They work with Serena Hesmondhalgh - Principal, Marti P. Murray - Principal, and Adoria Lim - Principal. Lucia Bazzucchi reports to Michael I. Cragg, Principal & Chairman.
