Tom Chapman

Tom Chapman is a seasoned professional in the energy sector with extensive experience in market development and policy. Currently serving as Principal and Office Director at The Brattle Group since January 2023, Tom previously held the position of Senior Manager for Wholesale Market Development at the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) from December 2013 to December 2022. Additional roles include Lecturer in Electricity Markets at Toronto Metropolitan University, Director of Transmission and Distribution Policy at the Ontario Ministry of Energy, and Principal Consultant at XAVi Consulting. Tom's early career includes positions as Senior Consultant at Henwood and Consultant at Omega Partners, preceded by a role as Planning Analyst at Calortex/Npower. Tom holds a Master's degree in Business Economics and a BSc in Economics, both from Swansea University.
