Managing Director, Development & Regional Events at The Breast Cancer Research Foundation

Rebecca Wasserman has extensive experience in development and regional events. Rebecca is currently the Managing Director of Development & Regional Events at The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, a role they have held since December 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Development & Regional Events at the same organization from August 2016 to December 2020. Before joining The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Rebecca briefly worked as the Director of Major Gifts for the Northeast Region at Boys & Girls Clubs of America in 2016. From 2015 to 2016, they were the Development Director at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Rebecca's career in development started at the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, where they held various roles including Associate Director of Development, Manager of Special Events & Volunteer Relations, and Annual Giving Manager from 2008 to 2014.

Rebecca Wasserman completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Human Services and Sociology at The George Washington University in 2008. In 2010, they pursued a Fellowship for Emerging Leaders in Public Service (FELPS) at New York University.
