Richard Turner

Richard Turner is a trustee at The Brendoncare Foundation and has an extensive background in finance, specifically project finance. Richard has worked in a number of industries, including healthcare, education, defence, and energy efficiency. In their previous role as commercial director and head of project finance for Carillion plc, they were responsible for primary market investment and financing activities for the group across all privately financed infrastructure projects. This included work in the UK, Canada, Middle East, Ireland, and Turkey. Richard has closed more than 35 projects since 2002 and raised £5 billion of senior debt while also investing in excess of £300 million of equity. In addition to their work with Carillion, they have also served as a non-executive director on the boards of a number of companies in which Carillion invested. Richard is a member of Senior Management Team and is responsible for strategy, business planning, and policy direction.

Richard Turner has a degree in Economics from the University of York.
