Tushaar Carvalho

Tushaar Carvalho is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in the social sector. Currently serving as an Associate for the Rebuild India Fund at Dasra, Tushaar plays a pivotal role in supporting grassroots NGOs across India through flexible funding and capacity-building initiatives. Previously, as a Senior Associate at Samhita, Tushaar contributed to significant fundraising efforts and established the India Protectors Alliance during the Covid pandemic. Tushaar's early career included roles at the International Maritime Organization, IL&FS, Edelweiss Financial Services, and Marks and Spencer, gaining valuable skills in project coordination, document management, and operational efficiency. Tushaar holds a Master of Science in Development Studies from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics & Psychology from the University of St Andrews.
