Cindy Peterson, MBA, serves as Vice President of Regional Ambulatory Operations and Business Development, a role she assumed in 2018. Peterson is responsible for the start and ramp up, as well as the ongoing operations, at a number of ambulatory sites across Brigham Health. These sites include several large multidisciplinary ambulatory care centers, located across Massachusetts including Chestnut Hill, Foxborough, Westwood, Pembroke, Hingham, Scituate, Weymouth, and other sites in development.

Peterson leads Brigham Health’s ambulatory business development efforts in the communities in which these centers are located, either working directly with or as part of a Brigham leadership team, supporting local businesses, municipalities, local governments and not-for-profit entities to carry out the Brigham mission of improving the health and wellness of our global and local communities.

Peterson has extensive start-up, turnaround, and stabilization experience across operations, communications and marketing. Prior to joining Brigham Health, Peterson served in various leadership positions in the elder housing & services field, working for a fast-growing for-profit, publicly-traded international senior living provider. Over a period of 14 years, served as an Executive Director, and in a regional role, where she oversaw regional sales and strategic marketing for 10 properties in 2 states. Preceding that role, Peterson held positions in the long-term care field and not-for-profit arena.

Peterson received her MBA in health care management from Boston University and her bachelor’s degree from Amherst College.
