Hamish Cormack Obe

Hamish Cormack OBE is an experienced leader in military and operational management, currently serving as the Director of Operations for The Bristol Port Company since February 2022. Cormack's previous roles include Chief of Staff in the British Army and Assistant Director Personnel, where leadership in workforce transformation using Agile methodology was key. As Commanding Officer of the Duke of Lancaster's Regiment, Cormack was honored with an OBE for exceptional leadership of a front-line Infantry Battalion. Additional experience encompasses directing operations in Afghanistan and serving as a senior advisor within the UK Ministry of Defence, contributing to strategic planning and international engagement. Cormack holds a degree in International Relations from Lancaster University and a diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute.
