Nia Ridgeway is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in data privacy and compliance. Currently serving as Data Privacy Counsel at the British Horseracing Authority since January 2023, Nia has previously held significant roles at PRS for Music from July 2012 to January 2023, including Lead Counsel: Compliance, Lawyer, and Legal Advisor - International Affairs. Nia also completed a trainee solicitor secondment at Bird & Bird in early 2015. Nia holds a GDL, LPC, and LLB in Law from The University of Law, obtained between 2007 and 2009, and a BSc with 2.1 Hons in Psychology from the University of Warwick, completed in 2007.
