Michael Seiden

Michael Seiden currently serves as Associate General Counsel for Privacy and Data Protection at Coinbase since August 2024. Prior to this role, Michael Seiden was actively involved with the International Association of Privacy Professionals, holding positions as a Board Member and Board Chair of the CIPM Exam Development Board, as well as an AI Governance Professional Exam Item Reviewer from January 2021 to December 2024. Michael Seiden's previous experience includes serving as Director and Senior Counsel for Privacy and AI, Data Privacy Lead Counsel, and Privacy Counsel at Medidata Solutions from April 2020 to August 2024, and as Data Protection and Corporate Counsel at Logicworks from September 2017 to April 2020. Michael Seiden began a legal career as an Advanced Legal Clinician at Brooklyn Law Incubator and Policy Clinic from August 2016 to May 2017. Michael Seiden earned a Juris Doctor degree from Brooklyn Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Crime, Law & Justice with a minor in Music Technology from Penn State University.
