James Oxlade

James Oxlade is the current Head of Senior School Leidschenveen at The British School in The Netherlands. Prior to this, they were Assistant Headteacher at St Joseph's College, Upper Norwood from September 2000 to December 2011 where they were responsible for curriculum development and analysis as well as timetabling. From September 1996 to August 2000, they were a Science teacher and Head of Chemistry at CARSHALTON BOYS SPORTS COLLEGE.

James Oxlade studied Chemistry at The University of Manchester, before completing a PGCE in Science education at IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society. James then went on to study for an MA in Education at King's College London.

They work with Barbara Gemen - Chief HR Officer, Sue Aspinall - Head of Junior School Vlaskamp, and Stacey Vickers - Head of Communications & Admissions. Their manager is Heath Monk, CEO.
