Chris Parker

Chris Parker has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Chris started their career as a Management Accountant at CMA CGM, where they worked from 2002 to 2005. Chris then moved on to Sportech as a Management Accountant/Analyst for a short period in 2006. Following that, they joined Broker Assistance, where they held various roles including Financial Planning and Analysis Manager and Head of Finance, from 2006 to 2012.

In 2012, Chris Parker worked as a Finance Manager at Bentley Motors Ltd for a brief period. Chris then joined Benson Group as a Financial Controller from January to May 2013. From April 2013 to February 2017, they served as the Financial Controller - Europe at Assurant Solutions, Europe, where they led a financial control team across multiple European entities.

Chris Parker's next role was at The County Group, where they worked as the Group Finance Director from January 2017 to October 2022. During their tenure, they played a key role in delivering rapid growth through acquisitions and organic growth, resulting in a significant increase in turnover. Chris also prepared the business for liquidity events, including its sale to Global Risk Partners Limited (GRP).

From May 2022 to October 2023, Chris Parker served as the Group Finance Director at Global Risk Partners Limited (GRP). In this position, they provided financial leadership, delivering statutory, management, and regulatory accounts. Chris also contributed to budgeting and strategic decision-making to support the company's ongoing growth.

Currently, Chris Parker holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at The Broker Investment Group, where they have been since November 2023. Overall, they have demonstrated expertise in financial control, strategic planning, and business growth management throughout their career.

Chris Parker attended the University of Liverpool from 1999 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting.
