Barbara Frasier

Law Graduate, Family Defense Practice at The Bronx Defenders

Barbara Frasier (she/her/hers) received her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School. While in law school, Barbara interned with the Criminal Defense and Advocacy Clinic to help domestic violence survivors that were charged with homicide apply for re-sentencing under the Domestic Violence Survivors Justice Act. During her 2L summer, Barbara participated in the Sonia & Celina Sotomayor Judicial Internship Program. Barbara also interned with the Bronx Family Court. Prior to law school, Barbara received her B.A. in Psychology from the University at Albany and a Master's in Social Work from Fordham University, whereafter she worked at a preventive agency as a case worker to low income families in the Bronx who were affected by the family court and child protective service system.
