Fatima Youssef

Law Graduate, Criminal Defense Practice at The Bronx Defenders

Fatima Youssef (she/her/hers) received her J.S. from CUNY School of Law, where she participated in moot court, trial practice, and served as the Muslim Legal Students Association (MLSA) President. Fatima was also part of the Creating Law Enforcement Accountability and Responsibility (CLEAR) clinic which focuses on post-9/11 policies impacting Muslims such as surveillance and no-fly lists as well as representing detainees in Guantanamo Bay. Fatima interned at public defender organizations in Dallas and South Texas, clerked with the Honorable Lourdes Ventura, and provided immigration services with Catholic Charities. She holds a double major in Government and Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Texas at Austin and a minor in both Arabic and Spanish.
