Maria Ignacia Lolas Ojeda

Ignacia Lolas Ojeda (she/her/hers) earned her J.D. from the City University of New York (CUNY) School of Law, where she participated in the Immigrant and Non-Citizen Rights Clinic and the Creating Law Enforcement Accountability & Responsibility (CLEAR) clinic, working with individuals targeted by the surveillance state under the guise of national security. She also served as a Staff Editor on CUNY's Law Review and Vice-President of the CUNY Law NLG Chapter. During law school, Ignacia interned with the Immigration Practices of Make the Road, The Bronx Defenders, and Legal Aid. Ignacia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from UC Berkeley. She is originally from Santiago, Chile and has native fluency in Spanish.
