Jonathan Siegal

Jonathan Siegal currently serves as the Chairperson of the Department of Emergency Medicine at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, a position held since November 2022. Prior to this role, Jonathan held the title of Vice Chairperson in the Department of Emergency Medicine at New York-Presbyterian/Queens from July 2014 to November 2022, where responsibilities included leading operations in a high-volume urban emergency department with a residency program. Jonathan also served as the EMS Medical Director at The New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens from June 2008 to June 2014. Jonathan Siegal earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the Sackler School of Medicine between 2000 and 2004, following a Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in Anthropology, Spanish, and pre-medical education from New York University from 1996 to 2000.
