Adena Bauer

Adena Bauer is currently the Growth & Ops at The Browser Company. Prior to this, they were a Contractor on the Investment Team at Operator Collective from January 2020 to March 2020. Operator Collective brings together as limited partners 100+ ultra-talented operators, investors, and founders from diverse backgrounds to invest in and accelerate the next generation of b2b tech.

Before Operator Collective, Adena was the Co-Founder at Eleventh from June 2018 to February 2020.

Her previous experience also includes working as a Business Analyst at Amazon from July 2017 to June 2018 and as a Product Management Intern at LendUp from June 2016 to September 2016.

Adena began their professional career as a Software Engineering Intern at Nordstrom from June 2015 to August 2015 where they worked on Nordstrom's Livesite Operations and Engineering Team (LEO) to ensure the reliability of Nordstrom.com. Adena Furthered the transition of Nordstrom.com from on-premise to cloud servers by building and testing new AWS pull servers. Additionally, they built configuration scripts in PowerShell for the Fulfillment Text Services Server and created necessary documentation for the building and load balancing of AWS instances so they are configured to handle Nordstrom.com requests.

Adena Bauer's educational career began at Y Combinator, where they completed a W19 batch. Adena then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science / Business Administration from the University of Southern California.

They work with Omar Elfanek - Design Engineer, Hursh Agrawal - Co-founder / Engineering, and Rebecca Grunberg - Data Scientist. Adena Bauer reports to Josh Miller, CEO & Co-Founder.
