Cristian Busu

Cristian Busu is a prominent figure in the field of economics and business, currently serving as the Founder of SWIFT ENERGY since September 2022. Busu holds a longstanding academic role as a University Professor at The Bucharest University of Economic Studies since October 2005, with a progression through various academic ranks including Assistant Professor and Associate Professor. Previous executive experience includes serving as Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Sif Oltenia SA, President of the Board of Directors at Electrica, Secretary of State at the Romanian Ministry of Energy and Small and Medium Enterprises, and Main Branch Director at Vista Bank Romania. Busu's career also encompasses financial leadership roles at Fondul Proprietatea and Prudential Financial, alongside advisory work for the Romanian Government.
