Lance Lysowski is an experienced sports journalist with a focus on hockey and baseball. Currently serving as the Sabres beat writer for The Buffalo News since November 2018, Lance previously held the role of sports reporter at DKPittsburghSports.com, where coverage centered on the Pittsburgh Pirates and Major League Baseball. Prior to that, Lance was a staff writer for the Observer-Reporter, covering a wide range of high school sports and collegiate athletics. Early career experiences include positions as a community website editor and various editorial roles at the Daily Kent Stater, focusing on both city and sports reporting. Lance holds a Bachelor of Science degree in News Journalism from Kent State University.
