Mike Petro is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in reporting and editing. Currently serving as a business reporter and senior editor for The Buffalo News, Mike oversees coverage for several local publications, including the Hamburg, West Seneca, and Orchard Park Suns. Previously, Mike worked as an editor/reporter for the Buffalo Law Journal, focusing on legal coverage and contributing to Business First. Mike's career also includes roles as sports editor for Metro Group Inc., where oversight of sports sections for multiple publications was key, and as sports editor/reporter for The Sun in Hamburg. Earlier experience includes serving as sports editor for the Wilton Villager at The Hour Publishing Company. Mike holds a degree in Journalism and History from Buffalo State University.
